Sr. Software Engineer (Angular/.NETcore)

Sr. Software Engineer We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Contractor) to support a large-scale modernization initiative focused on building a cloud-native platform on Azure using .NET Core and Angular.This is a hands-on engineering role—we are looking for strong developers who write high-quality code daily, can operate independently, and contribute to both new development and modernization of existing systems.The engineer will work across legacy applications while helping migrate to a modern architecture built on Azure services, .NET APIs, and Angular front-end frameworks aligned to enterprise standards.Responsibilities: Support CI/CD pipelines and modern SDLC practicesCollaborate with BAs, product owners, QA, and other engineers to deliver solutionsPerform code reviews and contribute to overall engineering qualityTroubleshoot and resolve production issues with strong ownershipWrite clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practicesParticipate in modernization efforts (legacy ? cloud-native patterns)Contribute to Azure-based cloud architecture (App Services, Entra ID, etc.)Develop and consume RESTful APIs and backend servicesBuild and enhance Angular-based UI components for enterprise applicationsDesign, develop, and maintain scalable applications using.NET Core / .NET (6+) and C#Required Skills:Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a teamStrong debugging and production support skillsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOpsExperience with SQL Server and/or Oracle (queries, performance tuning)Experience building and integrating REST APIsFull-stack development experience (UI + API layers)Azure (App Services, identity, basic architecture patterns)Angular (recent versions preferred)C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET CoreStrong hands-on experience with:Exposure to pipeline/logistics or enterprise transaction systemsExperience modernizing legacy applications to cloud-native architecturesModern testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright)Azure Entra ID / authentication patternsExperience with:Strong communicator — must be able to clearly articulate technical conceptsSelf-driven learner with the ability to pick up new technologies quicklyStrong problem solver with an ownership mindsetSomeone comfortable working in existing systems while modernizing themA hands-on engineer who enjoys writing code dailyCompetitive hourly rate based on experienceOn-site position (Alpharetta, GA)Contract-to-hire role
