The role focuses on patient assessment, care planning, treatment administration, and family education while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. >z Key Responsibilities Assess, admit, and provide direct care to pediatric patients Monitor vital signs, perform developmental screenings, and interpret diagnostics Administer vaccines, medications (including weight-based dosing), and IV therapy Assist with procedures such as blood draws and treatments Develop individualized care plans for acute and chronic conditions Educate parents/caregivers on health, nutrition, safety, and disease management Collaborate with pediatricians and interdisciplinary teams Screen for mental health concerns and provide support to families Maintain accurate documentation in EHR systems Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinical standards Float to other departments within the service unit as needed > Additional Skills Strong pediatric clinical assessment skills EHR proficiency and basic computer skills Cultural sensitivity (especially Native American communities) Strong communication and patient coordination abilities
