Quality Inspector - 3rd Shift
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and comply with industry regulations.At Atalys, we do important work; Injection Molding that produces life-saving medical devices. This position offers progressive pay base on experience and additional training.Working conditions are outstanding, as we offer our associates a controlled environment, meaning you will work in a clean, air-conditioned plant with no forklift traffic. Pay is dependent upon experience along with training and opportunity for growth.Position SummaryPerform visual and dimensional inspections of product to determine conformance to quality requirements and standards relative to dimensions, contour, fill, finish, and other specifications in a training environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWorks from drawings, specifications, and quality control instructions using an assortment of hand, floor, or bench mounted measuring tools, fixtures and equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, height gauges, comparators, gear checkers, etc in a training environment.Performs visual and dimensional checks of in-process or finished products in a training environment.CMM/vision system run CMM/vision system after placing parts on fixture in a training environment.Notifies Lead Operator and Production Supervisor of deviations and follows special departmental procedures towards rectification, identification and control of sub-standard productsContainment of Non-Conformance product and associated Product ID in a training environment.Prepares requisite reports, completes assorted departmental forms and maintains records in a training environment.Follows good documentation practices.This job description indicates the general nature and level of work, duties and responsibilities expected of the incumbent.
