Fleur de Lis Florist is a locally owned and operated high volume, boutique floral design shop located in downtown Baltimore that provides daily special occasion arrangements and bouquets for delivery or pick-up, event floral packages, and funeral arrangements. We are conveniently located in downtown Baltimore and serve the Baltimore metropolitan area. We are currently looking for an experienced floral designer who can help us provide our clients with high quality, creative floral arrangements for their special occasions and events. Job Title: Floral Designer Location: On-site/Downtown Baltimore Terms: Part-time/Full-time depending on availability Salary: Start at $20 an hour (commensurate with experience) Requirements: At least 2 years of working experience within a floral shop or design studio/event floral design. Must be available for event delivery and set up as needed during wedding seasons. Responsibilities Assistwith shop upkeep throughout the day Assist with processing of wholesale deliveries as needed Create custom arrangements per client specifications Recreate arrangements ordered from our menu of arrangements on our website Create bridal arrangements based on proposal descriptions as written Assists walk-in clients in the shop as needed Answer the phones as needed and take customer orders Must be available on some weekends and evenings Qualifications 3+ years of floral design experience Experience setting up event arrangements and installations Attention to detail is a must Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to identify types of flowers by name Experience with processing flowers from the wholesaler Excellent communication skills, both speaking and written Excellent time management skills Lift up to 50lbs Apply by sending a cover letter, resume and photos of designs to.
