Modeling, Simulation & Analysis Engineer (Senior‑Level)Mission Intelligence Group is seeking aSenior‑Level Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) Engineerto lead advanced modeling and analytical efforts supporting mission and business stakeholders. This role supportsNGA mission processesand GEOINT delivery across theNational System of Geospatial‑Intelligence (NSG)by applying data‑driven analysis to complex systems and architectures.
Your RoleAs a Senior‑Level MS&A Engineer, you will guide the development and application of models, simulations, and analytical tools to inform decision‑making and system design. You will mentor engineering teams, collaborate with analysts and stakeholders, and apply MS&A techniques to evaluate alternatives, assess performance, and enable future GEOINT capabilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuide the development and use ofcomplex models, tools, and algorithmsto identify trends and patterns in Big Data
Lead modeling ofNGA architectures, system performance, and mission requirementsaligned with NSG strategy and GEOINT enterprise vision
Develop models supportingAnalysis of Alternatives (AoAs), performance trades, design trades, and new capability assessments
Analyze and recommenddeployment alternativesfor capabilities within existing NSG architectures and cloud environments
Apply MS&A techniques tosystem‑of‑systems and service‑oriented architectures
Guide and mentorMid‑ and Junior‑level MS&A Engineers
Collaborate with stakeholders to translatemission and business needsinto analytical models and data‑driven insights
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or higherin Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a relatedSTEM field , or equivalent experience:4 additional years of experiencewith no degree, or
2 additional yearswith a non‑STEM degree12+ years of experiencein government or industry performing modeling and analysis of:Large, complexSystem‑of‑Systems , or
Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA)environments in cloud, on‑premise, or hybrid infrastructuresKnowledge oftools development and use in cloud environments
Active TS/SCI clearance , with ability to obtain SCI and successfully pass a polygraph
Desired QualificationsMaster's degreein Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related STEM field
Working knowledge ofModel‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)processes, tools, and languages
Machine learning experience
12+ years of experience in Operations Research
Experience performing MS&A on solutions using:Cloud‑based technologies
Structured and unstructured Big Data
