We’re looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Retirement Specialist / Savings Processor to join our Deposit Operations team. In this role, you’ll support our customer service teams, retail branches, and external customers by providing expert guidance on IRA and savings transactions while helping ensure accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service across all touchpoints. Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting internal teams and customers with questions about retirement accounts, regulations, and IRS reporting.
Maintain and support all IRA plan activities – including tracking documentation, processing daily mail, updating records, and monitoring transaction accuracy.
Review daily account and transaction reports, identifying issues and making timely corrections.
Participate in key annual and seasonal projects such as:
Required Minimum Distributions
IRS reporting and corrections
Dormancy reviews
Federal and backup withholding
Systems testing and process improvements
Collaborate with teammates to support broader Deposit Operations responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
Previous IRA and deposit regulations experience
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
Prior teller or savings counselor experience (a plus)
Experience documenting procedures or conducting training (a plus)

Our anticipated pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00 per hour. At Third Federal, we’re committed to transparency throughout the hiring process. The pay range listed is based on relevant market data, role responsibilities, and skills required for the position. Individual pay will be thoughtfully determined by a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
