Oracle Database Developer (Production Support)Location: RemoteNight Shift: Ideal hours are 3 AM EST to 12 PM EST; There is some flexibility if neededPay: $50-60/hrSeeking an experienced Oracle Database Developer with strong PL/SQL expertise to support mission-critical production systems. This role focuses on troubleshooting, performance tuning, and ensuring database stability in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 5-7+ years of hands-on experience and is comfortable providing off-hours support as needed.ResponsibilitiesProvide production support for Oracle databases, including incident resolution and root cause analysisDevelop, maintain, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, packages, triggers, and scriptsMonitor database performance and implement tuning improvementsPartner with application and infrastructure teams to resolve complex technical issuesSupport deployments, patches, and release activitiesCreate and maintain technical documentation and support runbooksParticipate in an on-call rotation and support off-hours maintenance or critical incidents Qualifications5-7+ years of Oracle database development experienceAdvanced proficiency in PL/SQLStrong troubleshooting and performance tuning skillsExperience working in a production support or operations environmentAbility to prioritize tasks and respond effectively under pressureExcellent communication and collaboration skills
