About Us: A Caring Heart of New Mexico is a nurse-owned Assisted Living Facility dedicated to providing compassionate and quality care to the elderly. Our mission is to create a nurturing environment where our clients feel valued and supported. Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for caring for the elderly and will be responsible for providing personal care and companionship to our clients. You will play a vital role in enhancing their quality of life and ensuring their comfort and safety. Key Responsibilities: - Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation. - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and uplifting environment. - Help clients with mobility and other ADL needs, ensuring they can participate in social activities and appointments. - Monitor clients’ health and report any changes in their condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals. - Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. - Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to provide coordinated care. Qualifications: - Must be 18 years or older. - Ability to pass a background check. - Reliable transportation. - Previous experience in elderly care or a related field is preferred but not required. - Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature. - Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals. - Must be physically able to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks.
