Our General Manager is a working leader who thrives in afast-paced, dynamic environment and is comfortable wearing many hats.Position OverviewThe General Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of RiversideColorado, ensuring smooth resort operations, exceptional guest experiences, and a positive,safe work environment for staff. This role requires strong hospitality and retail experience,operational expertise, comfort with technology and systems, and a willingness to jump inwherever needed.This is not a clock-in/clock-out position. Flexibility, ownership mindset, and a strong work ethicare essential.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & FacilitiesOversee daily resort operations, including lodging units, general store, coffee cart,shuttle service, and common areasEnsure all guest units are clean, safe, and presentable; assist with cleaning whenhousekeeping is not onsiteMaintain all common areas (restrooms, fire pits, cook areas, signage, lighting, etc.)Supervise vendors, contractors, and service providersCoordinate equipment maintenance and repairs with vendorsAct as incident commander during emergencies; manage on-site security when presentMaintain first aid kits and remain CPR/first aid trainedStaff Leadership & CultureCreate and manage staff schedules across all departments, including Facilities and HousekeepingManage housekeeping staff and laundry servicesAssist with hiring, training, and termination of staff in accordance with company policiesWork closely with HR leadership to uphold company values and ensure a safe,respectful workplaceTrain all staff on systems, processes, and operational standardsGuest Experience & ReservationsManage reservations and lodging inventoryOversee Cloudbeds and all OTA platformsManage guest communications via phone, email, OTA messaging, and WhistleSupport special events, programming, and private parties in collaboration with the eventsteamSchedule shuttle operators to ensure guest transportation needs are metRetail, Inventory & Food SafetyOversee purchasing and inventory for all departments, including food, beverages,housekeeping supplies, general store, and coffee cartCoordinate with Mishawaka’s restaurant on prepackaged goods needsEnsure food safety standards and compliance are maintained.
