Sales Manager

Job Description:We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager to lead and manage our sales initiatives, attract new business, and strengthen existing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hotel sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. This role is critical to the hotel’s revenue generation strategy and overall success.Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed hotel revenue targets. Identify new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, industry events,and partnerships. Manage and grow relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners,and other key accounts. Conduct site visits, sales presentations, and client negotiations. Work closely with the marketing team to execute promotions and campaigns that drivebookings. Collaborate with operations and revenue management to ensure client satisfaction andrate optimization. Monitor sales performance using KPIs and prepare regular reports for seniormanagement. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, contracts, and salesactivities in the Delphi system. Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the hoteland attract business.Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role in the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of local and regional market trends. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales management software (e.g., Delphi, Salesforce& Fosse). Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Flexible schedule, including availability to be on call weekends & evenings as needed.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with group sales, corporate accounts, and event planning. Familiarity with hotel revenue management principles with Marriott a plus.Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base pay Performance-based bonus Paid time off Employee discounts at affiliated properties. Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Skills Required:Proven track record in hotel salesExcellent communication skillsPassion for hospitality
