Jail MAT - Clinician

Job Description Organization: Family Outreach Center Position : Jail MAT- Clinician Location: Kent County Correctional Facility Position Type: Full-Time Salary: $66,500We are seeking a hard working and motivated candidate to work with incarcerated individuals with an Opioid and/or Stimulant Use Disorder at the Kent County Correctional Facility. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree with one year working with the targeted population. Knowledge of the criminal justice system and Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT) is desired. Applicants will need to pass a background check prior to hire.Responsibilities include:* Providing case management, substance abuse education, and outreach to individuals that are incarcerated and if needed in the community * Work closely with the Recovery Coaches * Work collaboratively with jail and community partners that provide SUD services * Meet with clients via telehealth, in person and/or possibly in the community * Crisis Management (as needed) * Develop release plans and make necessary community referrals * If needed, provide transportation to appointments * Flexible Schedule but some weekends and holidays requiredCompany Description Family Outreach Center provides outpatient mental health services, substance use disorder treatment, jail mental health services, children's in-home and school-based services, parenting and family support, prevention and education services, and violence prevention programs to those who need it most.Company DescriptionFamily Outreach Center provides outpatient mental health services, substance use disorder treatment, jail mental health services, children's in-home and school-based services, parenting and family support, prevention and education services, and violence prevention programs to those who need it most.
