Attorneys in this role gain exposure to complex disputes, white-collar investigations, and groundbreaking work in areas such as civil rights and democracy protection.________________________________________Key Responsibilities• Lead and support litigation involving commercial disputes, internal investigations, securities, regulatory enforcement, and employment discrimination.• Conduct in-depth factual and legal research; draft persuasive motions, briefs, and client communications.• Manage discovery, including document review, depositions, and evidentiary hearings.• Collaborate with senior attorneys on white-collar defense and regulatory investigation projects.• Represent public interest clients on cases involving gender and racial equity, LGBTQ+ rights, reproductive justice, immigrant rights, and democracy protection.• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with operational teams for effective case management.________________________________________Qualifications• Litigation or public interest experience gained at a law firm, federal clerkship, or nonprofit/advocacy organization.• Strong academic credentials, with clerkship or notable recommendations a plus.• Ability to manage complex matters independently and as part of a team.• Demonstrated commitment to advancing public interest causes alongside commercial litigation.• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by start date.________________________________________Education & Certifications• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.• Active membership in good standing of the D.C.
