License must be in hand at time of application.Certifications BLS (AHA)Certifications ACLS (AHA)Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Step-Down in last 3 years.Skills Assessment STD skills assessment with 2.7+ score.Additional Confirmations Post-operative open heart care experience is required.Additional Confirmations Chest tube and other drain management experience is required.Additional Confirmations Pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access is required.Additional Confirmations Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, including reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips, recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms is required.Additional Confirmations Advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities is required.Additional Confirmations Experience assisting with chest tube removal is required.Additional Confirmations Experience assisting with removal of pericardial pacing wires is required.Additional Confirmations Experience with management of temporary pacers, including pericardial and transcutaneous devices is required.Additional Confirmations Experience with use and troubleshooting of non-invasive ventilation (NIV) devices is required.Additional Confirmations Experience with high-flow oxygen and other oxygen delivery systems is required.Travel Contract Must travel at least 50.0 miles to receive a travel stipend.
