Concrete Foreman

Duties and Responsibilities:Directs activities of assigned Concrete Carpenters, Concrete Laborers and ApprenticesInterprets blueprints and job orders as needed for area of supervisionEstablishes and adjusts work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of equipment and assigned team membersDirects subgrade work, setting of forms and placing of concreteUnderstands schedules and manpower requirements for completion of projectsAnalyzes and resolves any issues on the projectEnsures adherence of the Company’s safety policy and practicesManaging crews of concrete workersEffectively allocate the amount of manpower needed per project. Coordinating with SuperintendentsProblem solve project anomaliesContribute to maintain quality standardsAssist with the placement of concrete for projectsMeet with Owners, General Contractor and others in a professional manner and can communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the companyManage Materials and equipment allocationDetermine materials, equipment and, procedures required to achieve desired resultsDetermine and abide by safety procedures based on job site conditionsKnowledge and understanding of commercial concrete construction, techniques, and toolsQualificationsRequirements/Qualifications: 4+ years’ experience in concretePrevious experience in the commercial construction industry preferred. Understand the project plans and specifications. Determine materials, equipment and procedures required to achieve desired resultsDetermine and abide by safety procedures based on job site conditionsCommunicate equipment and manpower needs to meet schedules and deadlines. Supervise and train workersAllocate general and daily responsibilitiesUnderstand blueprints and drawings
