Job Title: Solution Architect – IoT & Event-Driven MicroservicesExperience: 12+ YearsLocation: Atlanta, GA OnsiteJob Summary:We are looking for a hands-on Solution Architect to own the end-to-end technical architecture of a large-scale IoT-based digital product. You will design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions while working closely with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and cross-functional engineering teams.Key Responsibilities:Own overall architecture and technical design of the productTranslate business requirements into scalable technical solutionsDefine microservices, APIs, and cloud architectureDrive event-driven architecture using Kafka, MQTT, and WebSocketsCollaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teamsConduct design reviews and ensure best practices in performance, scalability, and securitySupport CI/CD, monitoring, and system reliability initiativesTechnical Skills:Strong experience in ReactJS, NodeJS, Express, TypeScriptExpertise in event-driven microservices architectureHands-on with Kafka, MQTT, WebSocketExperience with RESTful API design & integrationKnowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB / NoSQL databases\Cloud experience with AWS (preferred) or AzureExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD toolsFamiliarity with API security (OAuth2, JWT)Monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ELKPreferred Skills:Experience in IoT / connected devices platformsDevice authentication, provisioning, and communication patternsExposure to AWS IoT / Azure IoT / ClearbladeRelevant certifications (AWS/Azure Architect)
