Welder and Fabricator

Our ideal candidate is somebody that is adaptable, able work on different creative projects every day, while working alongside others in a team environment. This position will provide opportunities to get certified in various welding processes. Job description: MIG Production Welder 40 hours per week with opportunities for overtime Hours: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm Monday-Thursday with occasional overtime on Fridays (some flexibility depending on the candidate) Applicants will be subject to a hands-on performance test as part of the application process. Description: Stage and weld components in a wide variety of placements and scenarios. Manage workload dependent upon production requirements. Problem Solver: Must be able to think on your feet and troubleshoot problems as they arise. Job Requirements: Education: Welding degree or Certificate preferred. Experience: 2+ years welding experience required. Experience with Pulsed Mig Welding preferred. Must be proficient at MIG welding mild steel. Must understand basic blueprint reading, welding in all positions, grinding, plasma cutting and Oxy/acetylene cutting. Must be willing to learn and adapt to our unique techniques that we use in our industry. Working Conditions: exposure to welding smoke and heat, noise levels of 80 db or greater on occasion, heavy lifting up to 100 lbs. on occasion is required. ** Experience in quality control will put a candidate at the top of the list** Physical Requirements: Lift up to 100 lbs.
