This is a proactive, outbound-driven role centered around outreach, follow-up, and relationship building with boat owners who are looking to sell.This is not a passive sales position. Success in this role comes from energy, persistence, organization, and the ability to manage a large pipeline of conversations at once. If you enjoy making calls, working leads, following up consistently, and keeping deals moving forward you'll thrive here.Why This Role Stands OutHigh-activity, outbound sales role ideal for candidates from outside sales, inside sales, hospitality, call center, or collections backgroundsCommission-driven earning opportunity with strong upsideFocused on sourcing and securing inventory a critical function of the dealershipConstant flow of conversations with sellers and buyers no two days look the sameSupport from an established dealership with strong brand recognition and year-round inventory demandClear expectations, structured process, and a team that supports executionWhat You'll Be DoingSeller Outreach & Consignment AcquisitionServe as the primary point of contact for boat owners interested in consigning their boats, trailers, and marine equipmentProactively reach out to prospective sellers through outbound calls, email follow-ups, inbound leads, and in-person conversationsClearly explain the consignment process, pricing strategy, timelines, and expectationsBuild urgency, maintain momentum, and move sellers from interest to signed consignment agreementsManage a high-volume pipeline of seller conversations and opportunitiesDeal Management & Pipeline ExecutionTrack and manage leads from first contact through intake and saleMaintain consistent follow-up to prevent deals from stallingCoordinate closely with internal sales and management teams to align on pricing and strategyAssist buyers and sellers through the transaction process once inventory is onboardedInventory Coordination & OrganizationEvaluate incoming consignment units and assist with pricing, condition notes, and market positioningEnsure inventory details are accurate, complete, and entered correctly into dealership systemsMonitor inventory status and maintain strong organization across multiple active listingsCustomer Experience & Administrative AccuracyDeliver a professional, responsive experience to boat owners and buyersAnswer questions confidently and resolve issues quicklyEnsure all documentation, contracts, and records are completed accurately and in compliance with dealership standardsTeam CollaborationWork closely with sales, service, and leadership teams to support dealership growth goalsContribute to a high-energy, team-driven environment where activity and execution matterRequirementsWho We're Looking ForExperience & BackgroundBackground in high-volume sales, inside sales, outside sales, hospitality, call centers, collections, or commission-based rolesComfortable with outbound outreach, follow-ups, and pipeline managementMarine, automotive, RV, equipment, or consignment experience is a plus but not requiredSkills & TraitsHigh energy, motivated, and comfortable making frequent outbound callsStrong communication and persuasion skillsOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deals at onceConfident working toward goals and commissionsComfortable using CRM systems, inventory tools, and Microsoft OfficeSelf-starter with urgency, accountability, and follow-throughEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field is a plusAbout UsBoater's World Marine Centers is part of a growing marine and outdoor dealership network with a strong retail presence and long-term growth strategy.
