Structural EngineerLocation: South Charlotte Our client, a well-established and growing single-source building manufacturer, is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their South Charlotte, NC office. You'll produce sealed structural drawings for buildings nationwide, working hands-on with cold-formed steel, hot-rolled steel, concrete, and masonry systems across single-story and multi-story projects. Projects You'll Work OnPerform structural analysis and design using cold-formed steel framing, hot-rolled steel, concrete, and masonry systems.Produce stamped, code-compliant construction documents and bills of material from blueprints, construction details, and sales contracts.Apply model building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, AISI, AISC) and jurisdictional requirements to ensure full compliance.Develop and maintain company-wide Revit standards, driving consistency across all design workflows.Review and coordinate drawings from drafters and BIM technicians for accuracy and engineering alignment.Manage multiple concurrent projects on time while responding to RFIs and field challenges with cross-functional teams.Mentor junior engineers, drafters, and Revit technicians to build capability and design consistency. What Experience You Should BringBachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (required); Master's preferred.4–8 years of structural engineering experience, ideally including cold-formed steel design.Professional Engineer (PE) license required with ability to stamp and seal drawings. SE license is a plus.Strong command of cold-formed steel, hot-rolled steel, concrete, and masonry systems.Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit (required); experience with company Revit standards preferred.Solid knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISI, AISC, and related structural design codes.Self-directed with strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills.
