Self-Pay Representative

A company is looking for a Self Pay Representative to manage patient accounts and secure payments on outstanding balances. Key Responsibilities Make outbound calls to patients regarding outstanding balances and payment options Educate patients on their insurance responsibilities and financial assistance options Document account information accurately in the EMR system Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Passing score and certificate from an approved language testing vendor Prior experience in collections, customer service, or call center is preferred Knowledge of general medical billing and insurance is preferred
