Electrical Technician

The Sofidel Group has subsidiaries in 12 countries – Italy, Spain, theUK, France, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Poland, Hungary, Greece, Romania, and the U.S. - with morethan 6,500 employees.ResponsibilitiesProvide professional and technical expertise to improve the efficiency of our operational systems, improve the quality of our products, and find more cost-effective ways to meet these goals, while reducing costs. Perform duties to ensure that all electrical maintenance is performed; replace and repair components and parts as needed.Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical failure-related problems, report conditions, and suggest next steps.Use designated computer systems to track parts for inventory.Perform preventative maintenance such as changing contacts, checking motors, and operation of robotic systems according to instructions of the supervisor.Maintain the robotic systems; mechanical, electrical, and electrical components to ensure appropriate operation.Fix electrical and electronic systems, including any electromechanical industrial equipment, including troubleshooting and repairing PLCs.Install or replace cables and conduit for new equipment.Collaborate with other team members to determine the root cause of malfunctions and resolve problems.Read and use all types of electrical schematic wiring diagrams.Perform or assist with operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.Perform other related duties as assigned.RequirementsAn Associate Degree (two-year college or technical school) in Electrical Engineering and ElectronicsTechnology, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Or Automation/Engineering Is Preferred. MinimumRequirement: High School or equivalent.
