They're looking for a Lead Support Engineer to provide technical leadership while supporting enterprise Linux-based applications in production.This is a hands-on role for someone who excels at root-cause analysis, troubleshooting across multiple technology layers, and mentoring engineers. Rather than building software or administering infrastructure, you'll focus on identifying why production applications fail and driving issues to resolution.What You'll DoLead and mentor a team of Application Support EngineersServe as the senior technical escalation point for complex production issuesTroubleshoot Linux-based applications using command-line tools, logs, and system tracesPerform root-cause analysis across application, operating system, network, and infrastructure layersInvestigate SIP/VoIP and communication platform issuesAnalyze network traffic using WiresharkPartner with customer engineering teams to resolve critical issuesCollaborate with development teams by documenting defects and technical findingsDevelop Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for upgrades, maintenance, and production changesWhat We're Looking For7+ years supporting enterprise applications in Linux environmentsStrong hands-on experience with Red Hat Linux or similar distributionsAdvanced Linux troubleshooting and command-line expertiseExperience analyzing logs, traces, and application performanceSolid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, troubleshooting)Experience supporting SIP or VoIP technologiesAbility to interpret Wireshark capturesExcellent communication skills and experience working directly with customersPrevious technical leadership or mentoring experiencePreferred QualificationsTelecommunications, IMS, VoIP, or carrier-grade communications experienceLinux scriptingVMware vSphereDiameter protocolCisco IOSIf you're looking for a role where you can combine deep Linux troubleshooting expertise with technical leadership while supporting mission-critical communication systems, we'd love to hear from you.
