Sterile Processing Technician - Full Time - Days

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for preparing and assembling medical and surgical supplies, instrumentation, and equipment, maintaining the sterile processing areas, and receiving and distributing surgical supplies and equipment.MINIMUM EDUCATIONHigh School diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCEPrevious Sterile Processing Experience Preferred.REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONSCertified Sterile Processing Technician through CBSPD or IAHCSMM required in an Ambulatory Surgery Center. Preferred in a Hospital setting.
