Job Description Basic Technician / Installer (Garage & Entry Doors)Location: Dublin, VAPay: $17.50/hourSchedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM(Some overtime may be required)Job OverviewWe are seeking a dependable Basic Technician / Installer to assist with the installation of garage doors and entryway doors for both residential and commercial customers.This position requires working alongside a supervisor and traveling to various job sites daily. Ideal candidates will have basic mechanical skills, be comfortable using tools, and enjoy hands-on work in a team environment.Schedule & Work Details• 30-minute unpaid lunch• Employees meet at the shop each morning before traveling to job sites• Travel to and between job sites is provided in a company vehicle• Travel time between sites is paidKey Responsibilities• Assist with installation of garage doors and entryway doors• Use hand and power tools to complete installations• Measure and prepare materials using a tape measure• Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads• Load/unload materials and equipment at job sites• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentRequirements• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (may be asked to drive company vehicle)• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (with assistance when needed)• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team• Strong work ethic and reliabilityAdditional Qualifications (Preferred)• Previous installation, construction, or labor experience• Experience working with doors, framing, or similar trades• Comfortable working on ladders or scissor lifts (occasionally required)Education• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required if candidate demonstrates strong mechanical ability and hands-on skillsTools Required• Must bring a 25-foot tape measure dailyApplication ProcessAll applicants must complete and pass a basic skills test.Must be able to pass a background check.Must be able to pass drug screen.Valid driver's license & provide clean driving record
