Job Description Restaurant Assistant General ManagerBase Salary: $50–55K + bonusBenefits: 100% employer-paid employee benefitsLocation: Louisville OR ShelbyvilleWe're looking for a hands-on, in-the-action Assistant General Manager who thrives on the floor—not behind a desk. This role partners closely with the General Manager to support daily restaurant and kitchen operations while delivering an outstanding guest experience.As an AGM, you'll lead by example—jumping in wherever needed, from expediting and running food to assisting on the line or supporting to-go and catering operations. You'll help drive sales and profitability, maintain brand standards, and build a strong, motivated team through coaching and accountability.What You'll Do:Support daily restaurant and kitchen operations with a focus on food quality, safety, and guest satisfactionHelp achieve operational goals including budgets, sales targets, and profitabilityMaintain a clean, safe, and consistent environment aligned with brand standardsTrain, coach, and motivate team members while modeling exceptional hospitalityEnsure compliance with all health codes, labor laws, sanitation, and food safety standardsAssist with catering and to-go operationsWhat We're Looking For:High school diploma or equivalent2–3 years of restaurant management experience (casual dining or full service)Valid driver's licenseServSafe Manager certification (preferred)Skills That Set You Apart:Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skillsDetail-oriented, self-motivated, and passionate about team developmentOrganized, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of labor laws, health codes, sanitation, alcohol safety, and basic computer systemsIf you're a leader who rolls up your sleeves, inspires your team, and loves being in the action, we'd love to connect.Equal Opportunity Employer
