Who we are looking for
· The ideal candidate will have strong command of both Manufacturing Engineering and Mastercam Programming in an Aerospace & Defense contract manufacturing environment
· We encourage candidates with strong programming skills and basic comprehension of AS9100/ISO:9001 to apply – we have staff eager to help train you on our Quality Management System (QMS)
· You and your team will:
· Utilize extensive Mastercam programming to develop efficient programs for mill and lathe applications
· Utilize Geometric Dimension & Tolerance (GD&T) interpretation skills
· Create/modify detailed work instructions and other shop floor documentation to support production needs.
· Develop comprehensive processing and quality assurance plans for product lines
· Investigate and perform Root Cause analysis of component non-conformances and ensure implementation of effective Corrective Action
· Support continuous improvement through creation of work instructions, and optimizing CAM programs, and developing new work holding/tooling methods
· Showcase and action strong understanding of programming, tool selection, and machining processes
· Troubleshoot production issues throughout the process, & interface with our machinists to optimize manufacturability
· Participate in advanced quality planning and new job quoting efforts
· Gain experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Fagor controls
· Eventually own the AS9100/ISO:9001 Quality Management System and ensure its effective implementation across our organization
· Maintain, monitor and report on quality, schedule, and cost performance to all stakeholders
· Communicate effectively with machinists, support staff, and leadership
· Have proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
What you bring to the Team
· 5+ years of Mastercam programming, manufacturing engineering and quality assurance experience in an AS9100 or other accredited environment
· BS or AS degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field, or a minimum of 10 years’ experience in similar technical role with no degree
· An established background in Mastercam programming
· Openness to learning and collaborating with cross-functional teams
· Attention to detail and pride in delivering high quality work product
· Ability to apply critical thinking to problem solving
· Experience with Catia is a plus

Projected Total Compensation: $77,695.53 - $115,568.80 per year
