Lead Carpenter/Foreman

Looking for a lead Carpenter with commercial and multi-unit residential experience. Experience assembling and installing cabinets and wardrobes is a plus. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision. You must bring your own basic hand tools. Responsibilities Read blueprints and drawings to fully understand project requirements Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material need Skills Hands-on experience as a proven finish carpenter Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction Proficient in using hand and power tools Ability to read technical documents and drawings Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times Good knowledge of English Good understanding of basic math Good physical condition and endurance High school diploma or successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program Work Boots, Hard Hat and Safety Vest Required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
