This position plays a critical role in supporting sourcing, procurement, and inventory management functions across multiple business units. The Supply Chain Analyst will leverage data-driven insights, supplier relationships, and market intelligence to optimize purchasing strategies and ensure operational efficiency.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze industry, market, economic, and spend data to support sourcing decisions.Identify opportunities to leverage spend across categories and improve cost efficiency.Implement sourcing and negotiation strategies to achieve short- and long-term savings targets.Track and report performance metrics within assigned spend categories.Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective suppliers.Obtain order confirmations and ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.Participate in cross-functional teams to evaluate supplier performance and selection.Support supplier KPI execution and continuous improvement initiatives.Review technical, cost, and delivery requirements for procurement activities.Create, evaluate, and recommend supplier bids and quotations.Negotiate terms and place purchase orders in alignment with company policies.Validate and maintain accurate inventory data, including item descriptions and classifications.Resolve accounts payable discrepancies and delivery issues with suppliers.Process claims related to defective materials or service issues.Ensure compliance with supply chain policies and procedures at site locations.Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing shortages and delays.Support audits, surveys, and internal or external information requests.Promote supplier diversity initiatives and compliance standards.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field.Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain analysis.Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.Knowledge of sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, and purchasing processes.Understanding of inventory management principles and demand planning.Familiarity with financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting concepts.Knowledge of business law and Uniform Commercial Code (UCC).Experience analyzing supplier performance metrics and market data.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
