Job Description Job SummaryTechnologist, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team supporting the 21 Civil Engineering Squadron (CES) located at Peterson Space force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical, electrical and general commercial construction background. Find out if this opportunity is a good fit by reading all of the information that follows below.Required experience/education:Five (5) years commercial electrical, mechanical or structural (roofing, framing/interior construction) experience/expertiseProject management experienceExperience writing SOW or RFIsKnowledge of engineering principles and analytical techniques in order to support complex engineering assignments relating to civil engineering disciplinesDoD experience desired but not required - DoD project programming and development of programming documents (e.g. DD 1391s)Engineering degree desired but not requiredAbility to obtain a public trust clearanceExperience xmcpwfu utilizing Microsoft Office applicationsDuties:The position works with facility staff and Space Force personnel to define project requirements, ensure compliance with codes/regulations, ensure facility readiness, prepare SOWs, develop cost estimates and provide oversight on on-going construction projects.
