This role is critical to ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, and on-time delivery within a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in fast-paced operations, understands special processes, and can drive performance across multiple teams and locations.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations LeadershipOversee daily production across two buildings and two shifts, ensuring seamless coordination and communicationManage and develop a team of 50+ operators, leads, and supervisorsDrive accountability, performance standards, and team engagement across all shiftsEstablish clear KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and productivityProduction & PerformanceEnsure production targets and customer delivery schedules are consistently metOptimize staffing, scheduling, and workflow across both facilitiesMonitor and improve key metrics: throughput, efficiency, scrap, and downtimeCoordinate cross-shift handoffs to ensure continuity and consistencyQuality & ComplianceEnsure all operations meet requirements for:NadcapISO 9001AS9100Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to maintain compliance and resolve issuesSupport audits and ensure adherence to all process and documentation requirementsContinuous ImprovementLead Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce wasteIdentify and implement process improvements across both sitesDrive root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issuesSupport automation and process upgrades where applicableCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teamsEnsure alignment between production capabilities and customer demandsSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) and process transitions into productionSafety & CulturePromote and enforce a strong safety culture across both facilitiesEnsure compliance with all safety policies and proceduresDevelop a high-performance, team-oriented environment focused on accountability and growthQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)10+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in aerospace or regulated industries3-5+ years of leadership experience managing large teams (50+ employees)Experience managing multi-shift and/or multi-site operationsStrong understanding of production processes, scheduling, and performance metricsPreferredExperience with special processes (thermal spray, coatings, chemical processing)Familiarity with Nadcap and aerospace quality standardsLean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certificationExperience with ERP/MRP systemsKey SkillsStrong leadership and team developmentOperational planning and executionData-driven decision makingProblem-solving and conflict resolutionEffective communication across all levels of the organizationCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary (based on experience)Performance-based bonusesHealth, dental, vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysAbout BestLogic StaffingBestLogic Staffing (BLS) is a top staffing firm partnering with some of the largest names in various industries.
