Compensation $120,000 - $125,000 per year based on experience.Responsibilities:Interviewing, examining, and diagnosing patients? illnessesOrdering and interpreting diagnostic testsPrescribing medications and suggesting lifestyle changesSuturing skills, first assisting in the ORReviewing and maintaining patients? medical histories and records and recording patients? progressEducating and counseling patients and their familiesResearching the latest treatments, innovations, advances and trends in the bariatric fieldClinical training experience and the willingness to complete 100 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain certificationA state license to practice MedicineStrong analytical and technical skillsDetail oriented with good problem-solving skillsExcellent team working, communication, and interpersonal skillsThe ability to treat patients with compassion and empathyQualifications:State Licensing - Licensed in NY and NJBoard Certified in Physician AssistantACLS & BLS CertificationInfectious Disease CertifiedMasters Degree in Physician Assistant
