Senior Vice President Finance
SCALE Healthcare has a client based in New York City that is looking for a Senior Vice President Finance. The role will be required on – site 4-5 days a week split between their two locations.The Position:Reporting to the CEO and the Board, the SVP Finance will be key member of the senior leadership team and responsible for all finance, accounting, revenue cycle, tax compliance and treasury activities.Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manage accounting functions, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, including the company’s outsourced provider of accounting servicesLead revenue cycle functions, including company’s outsourced provider of revenue cycle management servicesManage treasury activities to ensure efficient utilization of bank accounts and financing vehiclesManage commercial banking credit relationshipsManage the business planning processDrive operational and working capital initiatives to improve cash flow performanceNegotiate favorable vendor and supplier agreementsPartner with CEO and the Operations team to drive performance to annual financial business planPartner with CPA firm to ensure favorable annual audit results and tax compliancePerform acquisition and divestiture financial planning, due diligence, and integrationThe Successful CandidateThe SVP Finance will possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to lead the financial operations function of this growing, private equity sponsored organization. These competencies include, but are not limited to, the following:8+ years of progressive senior-level financial leadership experience, preferably in healthcare services organizationsMaster’s degree in accounting or finance, and CPA preferredProven track record of leading and optimizing financial operations, with 8+ years of experience driving strategic initiatives, implementing robust financial controls, and streamlining processes to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth across healthcare organizationsExperience and knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle, including managed care contractingDemonstrated track record of leading through business cycles, including growth and turnaroundM&A experience, including opportunity assessment, deal proposal, negotiations, capital raise, due diligence, and integrationLeadership experience in all aspects of accounting and finance, including financial close, A/R, inventory, A/P, payroll, tax, internal controls, audit, treasury, budgetingFinancial systems implementation experience, including assessment, design, development, change management, go-live, and steady state performanceStrong analytical skills and experience analyzing, developing, and reengineering KPI dashboardsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsStrong computer skills, including programming, database design, and data visualization toolsExceptional leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills; able to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels of the organizationTrack record of success in fast-paced, high-accountability organizationsCompensation As a senior executive within this growing organization, the SVP Finance will receive a highly competitive compensation package, including, but not limited to the following:Competitive base salaryIncentive compensationEquityRetirement plan with company matchPaid time off
