We are seeking a highly qualified Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a thriving and well-established practice located in a scenic area of eastern Iowa. This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive care in a professionally managed facility with state-of-the-art equipment and resources. Position Highlights: Specialty Focus : Approximately 30% Hematology and 70% Medical Oncology. Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Minimal after-hours call handled via phone only. Weekend requirements to be determined. Patient Volume : Average of 30 patients per day, primarily adult and geriatric. Support Team : Includes RNs, medical assistants, CNAs, and administrative staff. Hospitalist Support : Available for infusion care if needed. Collaborative Environment : Access to onsite radiation oncology services through a university partnership and a robust primary care referral network. Facility and Community Features: Facility : Modern, professionally managed center attached to the hospital, ensuring seamless patient care. Community : Situated near the Mississippi River, the area offers charming small-town living with outdoor activities, cultural events, and historical attractions. Candidate Requirements: Certifications : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology (within 5 years of residency). Licensing : Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Iowa medical license. Experience : Clean malpractice record preferred. Visa Status : Cannot accept visa candidates.
