The individual will have specialized knowledge of materials, tools, and equipment. Employee Assistance Program RequirementsWe are searching for a candidate with:Experience in Injection Moulding and/or Profile Extrusion preferred Strong mechanical aptitude Solid troubleshooting skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Able to lift up to 50-70 lbs. safely Experience driving forklifts Duties and ResponsibilitiesA typical day may include:Assist in start-up and shut-down procedure - requires aiding the technician to move the bath on the tracts Feed sheet of plastic into the puller, working from Kanban cards, and item specific production rates Operate a multi station extrusion machine or single die injection mold machine, to extrude or injection various linear products Assemble corrugated cartons and fill with product, seal using a stapler, carton sealer or other similar tool Make sure product and carton labels are correct and applied properly in correct location Move finished carton from the packing table to storage or shipping rack using established pushing/lifting techniques Measure lengths of product as required and observe product quality, such as surface defects or form/shape etc. during operation - notify Technicians of any production or quality problems Dispose of scrap by cutting or grinding as instructed Maintain work area in a safe, clean, and orderly condition Enter all time and production information into the computer in a timely and accurate manner Any other responsibilities deemed necessary by Leadership Required Experience and Qualifications:6 -9 months relevant experienceAbility to use ordinary arithmetic in decimals and fractions, practice charts, specifications, schedule, variable controls and measuring devices Judgment is required to plan, perform and make decisions as to set up and sequence of operations Good attendance and performance record Interested candidates who believe that they meet the Required Qualifications must complete a Request for Consideration form, available in Human Resources, and submit it to Human Resources or their Supervisor by 5:00 pm on the last posting date.Position DetailsFull Time: 1st shift - 7am-3pm Located in:Lancaster, PAWe are proud of our commitment to equal employment opportunity for all qualified job candidates and associates and ask that all associates support diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
