Production Associate

Production AssociateReporting to the Production Manager, the Production Associate role exists to assist on the Production Floor. The incumbent shall be responsible for lumping, loading skids, preparing finished product for outbound shipment as well as operating production line equipment (as required).QualificationsEducation:High school diploma or equivalentExperience & Skills:1-2 years of experience in Warehouse or Production environmentFood industry experience an assetGood verbal and written communication skillsPositive attitude and team playerAbility to lift up to 50lbsAbility to stand for long periods of time throughout during the workdayFlexibility and willingness to work overtime as required, including evenings/weekendsPrincipal ResponsibilitiesLumping potatoes onto skids utilizing proper lifting techniques.Transferring product from boxes to bins.Preparing product for outbound shipment as directed by the Production Manager.Packing finished product onto masters on specified lines, as per production schedule.Basic operation of equipment and/or production machinery as required.General housekeeping and adhering to company health & safety policies/procedures.Other duties and projects as assigned by the Production Manager.
