You will build a comprehension of market trends, analyze data, and provide insights to the Executive Team, Sales Team, and Cross-Functional partners. In the short term you will own monthly reports while working to build the foundation for a best-in-class team covering all classes of trade. Your insights will drive short-term selections while providing a foundation for our 5-year vision. Main Duties And ResponsibilitiesData Analysis and insights: Analyze category performance using syndicated sources, panels, and internal data to generate insights, identify growth opportunities, and pinpoint areas for improvement. Maintain Reports: Maintain and build monthly reports for sales and cross-functional teams that help drive insights and selections. Category Reviews: Teamwork with cross-functional teams to conduct regular category reviews, develop and present growth stories highlighting key trends and metrics, and propose actionable recommendations to enhance performance. Inventory Administration: Oversee stock inventories for sufficient product availability, negotiate pricing with suppliers and vendors, and implement data-driven cost-reduction techniques. Planogram Administration: Manage planogram databases and create planograms to optimize shelf space and improve category visibility. Teamwork: Teamwork with internal teams and external stakeholders to align strategies and achieve category goals. Education And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Must Have: Experience of working within syndicated data sources. Experience in category administration within traditional CPG companies is preferred. Key Skills And CompetenciesKnowledge of US retail key accounts and distribution partners; familiarity with CAN is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office, data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Retail Link, IRI, Nielsen, Kantar, Panel, etc), and relevant software. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and listening skills; effective at influencing teams. Passionate about sustainability and reducing plastic use. Able to travel regularly and work weekends as needed in a fast-paced environment.
