This is an exciting opportunity to work on the modernization of a business-critical simulation platform by converting legacy FORTRAN applications into modern C++ solutions.This role offers hands-on experience with software transformation projects, simulation modeling, analytics, and collaboration with business stakeholders, data scientists, and end users.ResponsibilitiesModernize and convert legacy FORTRAN code into C++.Analyze, maintain, and enhance complex business simulation models.Debug, test, and validate software functionality to ensure alignment with business requirements.Collaborate with stakeholders and end users to gather requirements and validate solutions.Work with large datasets, data processing, and analytical reporting.Support inventory optimization, supply chain simulations, and predictive modeling initiatives.Troubleshoot software issues and recommend improvements.Communicate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.0-2 years of experience (internships accepted).Strong programming fundamentals and experience with C++.Knowledge of software development lifecycle, debugging, testing, and version control.SQL and database fundamentals.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work onsite in Morton, IL.Preferred QualificationsExposure to FORTRAN, COBOL, or legacy system modernization.Experience with simulation modeling, statistics, or data analytics.Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain analytics, or optimization techniques.Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools.
