Sack is new to the Charlotte area and is seeking an experienced estimator to join our team in the North Carolina region.ResponsibilitiesBecome a valued team member, where your contributions are acknowledged and rewardedAccurately estimating costs for commercial or industrial electrical installations and efficiently managing projects from inception to completionThis role entails full ownership of projects from initiation to completion, with a focus on enhancing cost-estimation methods to minimize disparities between projected and actual expensesResponsibilities for the Commercial/ Industrial Electrical Estimator:Liaise with clients to understand project requirements, including pricing, invoicing, and project management tasksAnalyze blueprints to determine optimal wire lengths and outlet placements adhering to electrical codesResearch market prices to estimate material and fixture costs for electrical projects accuratelyReview subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure accuracy in project cost estimationAssess labor requirements for each project to determine project feasibilityEvaluate potential profitability of electrical projects to support bidding decisionsPrepare and submit competitive project bids following established guidelinesManage awarded projects and provide assistance in project management when not involved in estimating tasksQualificationsRequirements for Electrical Estimator:Preferably 3 years of estimating experienceAbility to interpret blueprints accuratelyProven track record of quickly and efficiently pricing jobsSound knowledge of electrical codesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesSoftware used: Trimble, McCormick, BluebeamJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurance (Free plan for one individual employee)Life insurance- $20,000 life insurance after 6 monthsPaid time offParental leaveReferral programRelocation assistanceVision insurance8 paid holidaysSchedule:10 hour shiftExperience:Construction estimating: 5 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver's License (Preferred)Work Location: In personRequirements:Preferably 3 years of estimating experienceAbility to interpret blueprints accuratelyProven track record of quickly and efficiently pricing jobsSound knowledge of electrical codesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesSoftware used: Trimble, McCormick, Bluebeam
