Pneumatic Tanker Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tanker Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting cement and Fly-Ash in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight. Responsibilities Operate tanker trucks to transport cementitious cargo to designated locations. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding transportation of hazardous materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and cargo transported. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to company policies and procedures while promoting a culture of safety on the road. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license CDL-A. Proven experience as a truck driver, particularly with tanker or tractor-trailer vehicles. Strong knowledge of manual transmission operation is preferred. Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently. Familiarity with flatbed operations is a plus. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Must pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
