Planner

Job Description Basic Wire & Cable is seeking a motivated individual to fill the position of Manufacturing Planner. The Planner will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and organizing all activities associated with the day-to-day operations of the business. This position requires a self-starter who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision and possess a positive attitude. Essential Duties Plan, coordinate, and organize processes associated with the day-to-day manufacturing operations Assign duties to team members in a timely manner Ensure that all tasks are completed in an efficient and organized manner Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained Maintain a clean and safe work environment Other duties as assigned by manager Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required; ability to travel by car or bus is a plus. Minimum of 1 year experience in office setting preferred. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
