Motor Technician (Rewind)

Title : Motor Technician (Rewind)Location : West Chicago, ILHire Type : Contract to HirePay Rate : $25/hr+. The Motor Rewind Technician will disassemble, rewind, inspect, and test motors, pumps, and related equipment while completing all required documentation accurately and on time. This is an urgent need due to an internal employee relocating out of the country within the next two months.Job Duties : Repair and rebuild electro-mechanical equipment, including motors and pumpsRewind, inspect, and test single-phase, three-phase, DC fields, wound rotors, and transformersDismantle and strip damaged or unserviceable electro-mechanical equipmentPerform complete testing on repaired equipmentAccurately complete required paperwork and checklists for each jobFollow safety, quality, and shop procedures at all timesQualifications : Experience repairing and rebuilding electro-mechanical equipmentHands-on experience with motor rewinding and testingAbility to work independently and meet job timelinesStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
