Job Description: ATECH is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Commercial Appliance Repair Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to learn a valuable trade and get paid while gaining practical experience. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians, honing your skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment. You will have the opportunity to put your electromechanical skills to work and develop expertise in the restaurant equipment repair industry. Responsibilities: Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with commercial kitchen equipment. Perform repairs and maintenance on various appliances, including refrigerators, cooking equipment, preparation equipment. Learn to use specialized tools and equipment to repair and replace faulty components. Follow safety protocols and ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately. Maintain records of repairs, parts used, and services provided. Continuously learn and improve technical skills through on-the-job training and professional development opportunities. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Trade school education is a plus Strong interest in electromechanical systems and machinery. Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from experienced technicians.
