Job DescriptionSafety Trainer - Oil and Gas IndustryJob Description:We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Trainer to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The Safety Trainer will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and conducting safety training programs to ensure a safe and compliant working environment for all employees. This role requires a strong understanding of industry-specific safety regulations, procedures, and best practices.Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive safety training programs tailored to the oil and gas industry. Conduct safety training sessions for new hires, existing employees, and contractors, covering topics such as hazard identification, emergency response, and safe work practices. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety policies. Collaborate with management to develop and enforce safety policies and procedures. Prepare and maintain accurate records of training sessions, certifications, and employee progress. Provide guidance and support to employees on safety-related issues and promote a culture of safety within the organization. **Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in safety training, preferably within the oil and gas industry. In-depth knowledge of industry-specific safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, HSE). Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to develop and deliver engaging training materials. Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities. Certification in safety training (e.g., OSHA Trainer, CSP) is preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
