If you are someone who demonstrate initiatives, adaptability, and innovation, we invite you to join our team.This role will be based in our Washington, D.C. office, on an in-office basis.Position SummaryThe Legal Executive Assistant provides high-level legal support to a team of attorneys by providing a wide range of complex technical, document processing and administrative services in the assigned practice group/department(s). The successful candidate will effectively manage all aspects of the professional responsibilities of the assigned attorneys. Candidate should be flexible to work overtime as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesManages and maintains busy calendar, email and telephone; schedules appointmentsPrepares and organizes complex travel arrangementsMaintains client files, updates contact listsDocument management and production, drafts letters and correspondence (including word processing, transcribing and proof reading)Conserves attorneys time by reading, researching and routing correspondenceMonitors, screens, and responds to and distributes incoming communicationProcess reimbursement expenses, heavy expenditure reporting and credit card reconciliationManages client billing and collections, time entryHeavy client contact (including with opposing counsel and courts) for coordination and to assist with the management of client relationshipsCoordinates client engagement and conflicts processAssists in business development initiatives and filingsCollaborate effectively with Administrative Support Coordinators, Paralegals, and other members of the legal support teamsUtilize firm resources efficiently to achieve desired outcomesProvide assistance with overflow work and special projects as assignedQualificationsSkills & CompetenciesExtremely organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize their workload and work well under pressureThe successful candidate should be a self-starter, forward-thinking, action-oriented and focusedExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate well in a team as well as work independentlyStrong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectivelyRequires the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsLearn quickly to adapt to new situationsThe ability to respond outside of normal business hoursEducation & Prior ExperienceThis position requires a minimum of 7 years' experience as an administrative or executive assistant, in a professional administrative position in large or medium size law firmBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferredTechnologyProficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook required, as well as document management and other office technologiesThe expected pay range for this position is:$45.55 to $57.16 per hourActual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
