1. About Our Client:The organization operates in the managed care health insurance industry, focusing on Medicaid, Marketplace, and Medicare/MMP populations. It addresses challenges in risk and quality reporting to improve health outcomes through targeted interventions and provider engagement. By developing and utilizing custom reports, the program supports local health plans in tracking performance and gap closures, enabling data-driven decisions to enhance care delivery and compliance with health standards such as HEDIS.2. About the Opportunity:The Risk & Quality Reporting Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Risk and Quality Health Plan team by designing and developing custom reports that inform local interventions and provider outreach. This position educates users on reporting tools and tracks the outcomes of quality improvement initiatives. The role contributes to improving health outcomes and operational effectiveness by delivering actionable insights through data analysis and reporting.3. Responsibilities:• Capture and document requirements from assigned health plans and build custom reports• Educate health plan users on report utilization related to Risk and Quality/HEDIS• Develop intervention strategy reports to measure gap closure and outcomes• Create ad hoc reports for HEDIS performance and supplemental data monitoring• Develop and quality assure reports involving managed care data such as Medical Claims, Pharmacy, Lab, and HEDIS rates• Collaborate with the national Risk and Quality department on pre-production report testing• Calculate and track gap closure and intervention outcomes by state• Analyze data sets for anomalies, trends, and opportunities using databricks SQL, PowerBi, and Excel• Support special projects requested by internal departments or external agencies4. Requirements:• Bachelor''s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience• 1-3 years of experience in data mapping, profiling, scrapping, and cleaning• 1-3 years of experience in a Managed Care Organization with SQL query writing and data design• 1-3 years of experience with Microsoft T-SQL, Databricks SQL, and PowerBI• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Hadoop• 1-3 years of experience in healthcare reporting analysis• Experience quantifying and analyzing financial/performance management and utilization metrics• Familiarity with HEDIS and Risk data5.
