Senior Data Analytics Engineer

Client: is a global mobility and urban services platform that allows users to book rides or other services and negotiate the fare directly with the service provider. It offers a variety of services including ride-hailing, intercity travel, delivery, and task assistance, operating in over 700 cities across 47 countries and is the second most downloaded mobility app in the world. Project: The Data Usage team is responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines and a centralized Data Warehouse (DWH) at inDrive, based on Google Cloud Platform. One of the first major projects will be a Payment Provider Reconciliation. The project focuses on automating multiple streams of financial reporting received from payment providers, reconciling them with internal data, and integrating the results into the DWH. The goal is to improve transparency, consistency, and audit readiness of financial data across different providers and reporting formats. Responsibilities and tasks: Gather and clarify requirements from analytics and finance stakeholders Design and evolve DWH architecture (ODS / Data Marts) with audit requirements in mind Develop and maintain financial data pipelines Design, implement, and support incremental data pipelines Develop and optimize data marts in BigQuery (dbt, Dataform) Analyze source systems and build data flows from source to consumption Maintain and develop workflows in Airflow Participate in testing, data validation, and release processes Investigate data quality issues and financial discrepancies Maintain technical documentation required for audit and data governance Our expectations of the ideal candidate: 5+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer / DWH Engineer / Data Analyst working with DWH Hands-on experience with data warehouses Strong understanding of DWH architecture and data layers (ODS, Data Marts) Understanding of incremental loads, historical data handling, and deduplication Experience designing and optimizing data marts Experience with BigQuery (partitioning, clustering, cost-aware querying) Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools Ability to work with stakeholders and translate business needs into data requirements Must have to be familiar with: Languages: SQL (strong knowledge), Python (basic knowledge) Orchestration: Airflow or similar orchestration tool Version Control: Git Experience with Data Quality / Data Governance / SLAs Nice to have: Analytics & BI: Looker, Tableau Experience working with financial data or financial reporting Experience preparing data for audits or regulatory requirements The ability to influence teammates and partner teams, and to communicate complex results clearly We offer: flexible working time professional and ambitious team learning opportunities, seminars and conferences and time for exploring new technologies co-funding for language courses (English) Important Notice Regarding Your Personal Data Security At *instinctools, we take the security of your personal data very seriously.
