Full Stack Developer - Banking

A large regional bank is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build, and support secure, scalable applications that power banking and financial services capabilities. This role leverages AI-assisted development tools throughout the software lifecycle and requires strong full-stack engineering expertise.Location: Florham Park, NJ (4 days/week)Salary: Up to $115/hour, up to $200k base after 6 months if it converts to full-time (goal is conversion to full-time after 6 monthsVisa sponsorship is NOT AVAILABLEResponsibilities:Use AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot to accelerate design, development, testing, and documentationDesign and develop modern web applications using React, Angular, or similar frameworksBuild and maintain APIs, integrations, and backend services using .NET OR PythonLead solution design, development, deployment, monitoring, and production support activitiesCollaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable cloud-based solutionsTroubleshoot and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and securityMentor team members and contribute to engineering best practicesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related7+ years of software development experience, including full-stack application developmentStrong experience with .NET OR Python, REST APIs, microservices, and modern frontend frameworksExperience with Azure (preferred) or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and GKnowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native developmentExperience using AI-assisted development tools in a professional environmentPreferred:Financial services, banking, payments, or other regulated industry experience
