We are seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join a large multispecialty group in the Bronx. This is a full-time opportunity offering both outpatient and hospital-based responsibilities. Spanish speaking is preferred, but not required. J1 visa and CONRAD 30 waiver sponsorship available. Position Highlights Full-time opportunity Combination of outpatient consultations and hospital consultations Participation in on-call schedule (responsive and timely coverage expected) Practice within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team Opportunities to participate in education, training, and clinical research initiatives Multiple practice locations available throughout the Bronx Responsibilities Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system Develop and prescribe treatment plans for patients with injuries, disorders, or malformations Perform surgical procedures as indicated Provide non-surgical treatment options when appropriate Conduct and supervise direct patient care Participate in disease prevention and health promotion initiatives Maintain accurate documentation of symptoms, medications, procedures, and outcomes Maintain CME requirements in accordance with board standards Participate in medical education and mentorship of clinical staff as appropriate Contribute to departmental growth and quality improvement efforts Qualifications MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Active New York State medical license (or ability to obtain) Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program Strong surgical and clinical decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Organization Information Competitive annual salary range: $320,000-$350,000 Comprehensive benefits package Large multispecialty group with offices throughout the five boroughs Over 400 practitioners currently employed Collaborative environment focused on high-quality patient care Lifestyle Information Multiple opportunities available throughout the Bronx Access to all that New York City has to offer Abundant public transportation options RecruitWell Core Values Open communication Sense of urgency Teamwork Accountability Driven to win Higher consciousness
