Summary : The Mechanical Quality Technologist is responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of sub-assemblies and finished products in accordance with established standards and specifications. This role applies ISO-9001 quality requirements, documents inspection results, and works closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure product compliance.Key Responsibilities : Perform in-process and final inspections to verify products meet engineering, quality, and customer requirementsApply ISO-9001 standards by following Inspection Plans, Inspection Specification Procedures, and Process SpecificationsIdentify special inspection requirements and ensure assemblies meet all defined criteriaConduct specialized inspections as required within the manufacturing processAnalyze in-process materials and finished goods for quality and conformanceMonitor assembly processes to ensure adherence to specifications, protocols, and standard work methodsInterpret test results (including rundown and resistance reports) and validate compliance with specifications and control limitsAccurately document inspection results, defects, and nonconformances within the quality systemEnsure inspection and test equipment is properly calibrated, validated, and safely maintainedMaintain a strong understanding of products, quality processes, and Quality Policy requirementsCollaborate regularly with production, engineering, and QA teamsTrain and support Assistant Mechanical Quality Technologists as neededQualifications : High school diploma or equivalentOne or more years' assembly inspection experience and three or more years' experience working in a Manufacturing Environment.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAbility to maintain accurate inspection records/document checkingAbility to ensure inspected products meet company and customer specificationsTwo or more years of assembly inspection experienceAbility to identify and inspect special assembly requirementsAbility to read and comprehend part drawings, Bills of Material, Sales Orders, & Technical DocumentsQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
