ETL Report Developer
The Job/What You'll Do:
The Business Intelligence (BI) ETL Report Developer works collaboratively with Solari end users to develop data systems that provide accessible information for actionable business insight, driving business decisions, and improve operations across the organization. The ETL/Report Developer will provide enterprise wide data warehouse expertise with emphasis on data design, access, usage, security, and quality of information assets.
Candidates must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Texas, Washington, Seattle, Virginia, Oklahoma, Colorado, Georgia, North Carolina, Wyoming, or Florida.
Responsibilities:
The Business Intelligence ETL Report Developer will have four essential job areas…
Databases
Write T-SQL queries and stored procedures to return and manipulate data
Debug and troubleshoot queries, stored procedures, and data integration solutions
Develop SSIS packages for ETL into data warehouse
Optimize query performance tuning by database refactoring
Reporting & Visualization
Develop and build analytic reports/dashboards from conception to publication
Develop deep understanding of Solari's data sources, data relationships and logic needed to produce consistently reliable reports
Update existing BI reports to accommodate changing business needs
User Support
Provide support for data and reporting requests
Performance troubleshooting at all levels (database query, report interfaces, etc.)
Creating documentation for end-user consumption, troubleshooting and auditing
Participates in the On-Call rotation as required
Projects
Identify data and reporting needs
Help gather and write reporting requirement documents
Assist with other BI work on complex, cross-business functional projects
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2016 or later, Cognos Analytics, Office 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), Tableau Desktop/Server, JIRA, Visual Studio
Possesses strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Demonstrated attention to detail on ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of individual work
Ability to act professionally and maintains appropriate boundaries with clients and staff.
Ability to report as scheduled to work, meetings, training, and job-related activities prepared and as scheduled.

Education & Experience:
3-5 years of experience required with
Strong T-SQL coding experience; understanding complex stored procedures, views, data aggregation/manipulation through table joins, database design, normalization and de-normalization techniques
Strong BI front end reporting tools coding experience with Cognos Analytics, Power BI, Tableau Desktop/Server/Public
Internship and/or certifications with MCSA, MTA, preferred
Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, Preferred
Working Conditions:
While performing the job duties in the office or at a home office, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands; they must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Exposure to noise typical with office operations. Ability to hear and speak.
