Quality In-Process/Assembly Inspector

This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For moreinformation, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/jobs/13524843**Position Summary**Inspect product (detail fabrication, machine parts or assemblies) tocustomer engineering drawings, specifications, supplier qualityrequirements and Perfektas Policies and Procedures using appropriateinspection equipment.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** Inspect product to customer purchase order (P.O.), engineeringrequirements and the production planning. Record inspection results using basic inspection measuring methodsand equipment (calipers, micrometer, pin gages, etc). Monitor and review Customer Supplier Quality Requirements to ensurecompliance. Ensure that First Article Inspections (FAI) are performed perapplicable time period, work orders and documented per customer andcompany procedures. Ensure all defects are recorded on proper form and sent to the MRBcrib for segregation and disposition. Maintain Six S (6 S) training. Comply with Perfektas Policies and Procedures per Perfekta, Inc.Employee Handbook. Notify immediate supervisor of any safety hazard you see in yourwork area. Notify immediate supervisor of ideas that you think would helpimprove your department or company.
